Our sorter operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. Wednesday afternoons (noon to 6 pm) and Thursdays (9 am to 6 pm) are reserved for BCMP users; Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday mornings (9am to noon) and Fridays are reserved for Cell Bio users.
For users from BCMP, please contact Anthony Banks at Anthony_Banks@hms.harvard.edu for booking times.
For users from Cell Biology:
- please contact Sebástian Valerio at igen@hms.harvard.edu for consultation, training requests, and instrument reservations. Please include 'SONY sorter' in the title to ensure that the message can be viewed by the correct personnel.
- For regular users, please provide your own chip.
- We will update our instrument calendar every Friday by 3:00 pm. Contact Sebástian and select open time slots for your sorting.
- Sorting can be joined when any initiative member’s sorting session has space available. We use a 130um chip.
- Please clean up after sorting and notify Sebástian before you leave.
* Maintaining a germ-free environment is very important to ensure satisfactory results for all users. So Bleach and DI washes are required after sorting.
